Crime Report Monday
Theft
A resident summoned police officers to the parking lot of Tractor Supply Company Friday afternoon. He reported that while he was inside the store, someone stole a weed eater and leaf blower from the back of his truck. The items had an estimated value of $670.
Theft
Police officers made their way to a Cecil Street home Friday where a resident reported a pressure washer had been stolen from his back yard. He told officers it had been in the back yard for several weeks. When he went outside he noticed it had been taken. It was valued at $5,000.
Vandalism
An elderly resident of Simpson Street filed a complaint on Saturday after her grandson noticed a window screen had been removed from the carport area of her home. While checking the house, they determined that a second screen had been removed from the rear of the home. The resident reported she never heard any unusual noises. The crime had reportedly taken place sometime after 12:00 the previous day. No entry was made. Damages were estimated to total $50.
